I began documenting my experiences, travels and community engagement in education in Zihuatanejo and Mexico after my first visit in 1999 and began a book, THE ZIHUA DIARIES, in 2003.

During my recovery from near-death in the pandemic of 2021-2022 I wrote a book of illustrated poetry, THE THIRD SPRING. Poetic gratititudes on a journey of renewal in a post-pandemic world.

I have written dozens of articles and features on culture, languages, the arts and education for a variety of publications including Imagine Mexico.com, Boston Magazine, Another Day in Paradise, regional US newspapers, and now MEXICO NEWS DAILY.

My skills in public relations, brand development and marketing are employed in many lines of business, as well - from real estate to travel and tourism.
