Nestled along the Pacific coast of Mexico lies a charming seaside community called Zihuatanejo, where breathtaking ocean views and a vibrant Latin American culture come together to create a truly special place.

Within this picturesque setting, Lisa B. Martin has embarked on a remarkable journey, chronicling her experiences in a literary project known as "The Zihua Diaries."

One of the main focuses of THE ZIHUA DIARIES is on my several decades of work and on-going engagement with at-risk and indigenous children in the community. Through various fundraising efforts and educational community outreach initiatives, I and others have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of children, women and families in need.

The inspiring stories I share showcase the power of compassion and the difference that one person can make in the world. Zihuatanejo is more than just a vacation destination and beautifully diverse international community: it's a place where miracles happen every day.
